Designer Focus - David Hicks

One of our favorite designers is David Hicks. Hicks was an English interior designer and decorator. He had a fantastic gift for using bold colour and mixing antiques with the modern. He began designing cereal boxes and went on to create an Hicks design empire - from fabric to rugs to ties to wallpaper to bikinis to umbrellas.

A wonderful book by his son Ashley was published in 2009, 'David Hicks, A Life Of Design'.
