Preview of 'Houses of Marrakech'

Here is a preview of one of our latest fabrics 'Houses of Marrakech'.

Inspired by the colours and architecture of this city, it evokes scenes of exotic side streets and Riads. Clay and mud brick walls with Moorish elements. Washed out pinks and oranges against a blue sky.

Available in both 100% cotton for curtains and light upholstery as well as a 35% linen, 65% cotton for heavier upholstery.

Welcome + Rug samples on the loom

Welcome to the Rouse Phillips Textiles blog. Here you will find updates and news about our company.

We are excited to show a photo of the first test sample from our premier rug collection. Here is 'Poppies' on the loom. It is being made from 100% silk and wool by a small, family run business in Nepal that works with the local communities and specifically 'Good Weave', a non profit organization promoting fair working conditions for the makers of these rugs.

If you look closely you will see the variation of texture and colour which is the result of combining these two yarns.

Stay tuned for more updates and news about Rouse Phillips as well as things that we find inspiring and interesting.
